Autumn Afternoon On The Lake

I wanted to take a break from my more usual genre of works by producing a larger work, which was to be, essentially, something purely decorative. This work, Autumn On The Lake, is 2 meters in width. It is my impression of a scene I sketched and recorded a couple of years ago on a cloudless afternoon with unusually intense, bright, late autumn light. Even though the day was fading, the lighting effect was strong, and I remember that, very unusually for autumn, it gave hard edges to the scene.
