Industry / Industrie

This is the second of two works, which, because of the subject matter, could jointly be labelled under the more recent concept of industrial art. However, each of these are really, quite simply surreal-expressionist works – the first, entitled Crane Dance / Dance of the Cranes, being an example of lyrical, surreal expressionism, and now this work, entitled simply Industry /Industrie, being an example of allegorical, abstract expressionism.
