Industrie
This is the second of two works, which, because of the subject matter, could jointly be labelled under the more recent concept of industrial art. However, each of these are really, quite simply expressionist works – the first, entitled “Dance of the Cranes”, being an example of lyrical, surreal expressionism, and now this work, entitled simply “Industrie”, being an example of allegorical, abstract expressionism.
