Abstract where red and orange predominate with emphasis on texture from paint build up with different brushes, as well as rough scratches and indents.

Shutters

“Shutters” was a title chosen quite at random for this pure abstract work, as someone asked me what was its title. How can anyone choose a truly relevant title, when the work is in no way an actual representation of any particular thing or object?

In this work of strong, saturated colours, where red and orange predominate, there is an  emphasis on texture from paint build up with different brushes, and, more particularly,  on noticeably rough scratches and indents.
