"Octopuss" The picture depicts an older and younger woman, together in an obviously sexual situation, showing lust and desire, their thoughts being represented by a drawing in the ancient, classical Japanese style, of a large and a small octopus with a woman. This mixed media collage is on white, rice paper with guaranteed archival standards. The laid-finished rice paper meets the highest industry standards, and is designed for, mostly, Asian ink paintings (such as what are known as Sumi-e). As this work contain elements of ancient Japanese art, it was quite fitting that the work should be on that paper. Care should be taken in the mounting & framing of this work. Only archival grade tapes and glues should be used for this purpose.
